Poltak has been with Bahar & Partners since January 2010. At Bahar & Partners, Poltak has been involved in a number of transactions involving legal issues such as financing transactions, acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and national and international infrastructure development projects.
In the field of Corporate Governance, Poltak has acted as legal counsel to one of the telecommunications companies related to a group of companies’ plan to be reorganized. In the capital markets field, Poltak has done legal due diligence with respect to transactions in the capital markets on freight shipping companies in Kalimantan, and has also conducted legal due diligence on a company engaged in telecommunications. Poltak has also acted as legal counsel in several companies in the field of employment, for example in providing legal advice in relation to an employee layoff plan, provided legal advice related to assistance schemes (secondment) and the transfer of employees, reviewing and finalizing work agreements, and also provided advice in the process of drafting and ratification of regulations within a company.
Poltak has also been doing some research on a variety of issues and legal sectors such as infrastructure, competition, corporate governance, litigation, dispute resolution, and employment. Poltak is currently working in the Energy and Infrastructure practice group.
